A proud graduate of Brown University’s Master of Public Affairs program, Lauren discovered her passion for nonprofit work through her coursework and hands-on experiences during her time at Brown.

Before joining RISE, Lauren worked at the education nonprofit Bottom Line, supporting first-generation college students. She then transitioned into higher education, where she held student career development roles at the College of the Holy Cross and Framingham State University - serving as Director at the latter.

Lauren’s connection to RISE began during graduate school, when she learned about the organization as part of a class project and later trained as a mentor. Her deep appreciation for RISE’s mission has only grown since.

Outside of work, Lauren enjoys life with her husband, young son, and a small menagerie of pets. You can often find her reading a good book on the patio or enjoying time outdoors with her family.
