RISE is thrilled to announce that this year's RISE honoree is Oliver Bennett. Practically since day one, Oliver has been a staunch supporter of RISE — as a sponsor, Board Chair and emcee emeritus, Oliver's advocacy of RISE in the community has been steadfast. We are eager to highlight him as the intrepid volunteer that he has been. Over 21 years, we have been able to count on Oliver and his wife, Martha, for generous support of our students.

Oliver was born in San Francisco and lived in London from 1973-’84. After graduation from Wesleyan, he moved to Providence to work at Fleet (now Bank of America), where he's remained for 31 years.

His hobbies include golf, playing cards, kids' sports, travel, and Al Forno on Thursday nights at the bar with Kyle and Martha.
